Title IX Coordinator
The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the College's efforts to comply with its responsibilities under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits sex discrimination, including sexual misconduct, in education programs and activities for institutions that receive federal financial assistance, as well as retaliation for the purpose of interfering with any right or privilege protected by Title IX.
The Title IX Coordinator oversees the College's response to all reports and complaints of sexual misconduct and works with the Office of Student Life and College administrators during the investigative process. The Title IX Coordinator works campus-wide to continually assess and improve College programs that support a safe and welcoming place for all students free from discrimination based on sex. Upon a report or complaint of sexual assault or sexual misconduct, the College will immediately open investigative proceedings that are thorough, accurate, prompt, impartial, and equitable.
