The Office of Disability Services works in conjunction with Residence Life to coordinate necessary and approved housing accommodations. These accommodations may include
- a ground floor room;
- a single room;
- an air-conditioned room;
- a visual fire alarm;
- a visual door signaler.
As soon as the decision is made to live on campus, the Housing Accommodations Request form should be completed and sent to the Disability Services office. It must be on file with adequate time for the Residence Life office to make room selections and accommodations, so it is important to address this early.
Students with disabilities file this form each year with their application to live on campus.
Air-conditioning and single rooms are limited and are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
