Student group to host "Scooby-Doo Good" event Sept. 19

September 12, 2018

Jacksonville, Ill. –  The MacMurray College student chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children invites the community to stop by campus and see the original Mystery Machine at their "Scooby-Doo Good" event on Rutledge Lawn, Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 4-6 p.m. The group is asking for winter wear donations to give to Pathways Services Unlimited.

"The goal is to fill the Mystery Machine with donated items like hats, gloves, coats, jackets and socks and then deliver them in the van to Pathways," senior Brianna Sutton, president of CEC at MacMurray, said.

Along with the Mystery Machine, Scooby-Doo will be on hand with Scooby-Snacks and fun activities for children.

Sutton said, "This is just a fun way to give back to the community as well as raise awareness for the CEC."
