College celebrates 2016 graduates

Nearly 140 students were recognized this year in the MacMurray College Class of 2016.  The Baccalaureate and 165th Commencement ceremony was held May 7, 2016.

The keynote speaker was Sister Rosemary Connelly, a member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy, who is the executive director of Misericordia Heart of Mercy in Chicago. MacMurray also awarded an honorary Doctor of Public Service to Francis Kateh, a 1991 graduate of MacMurray and the deputy minister for Health Services, chief medical officer for his native Republic of Liberia.
