Students to show work

The MacMurray College’s Applebee Gallery will highlight the works of three senior art students, with other student work also on display.

 The opening reception for the MacMurray College Art Program Senior Art Exhibition will be Thursday, April 17 at 6-8 p.m. in the Applebee Gallery, located in the Putnam/Springer Center on the southeast corner of State and Clay streets on the MacMurray College campus. The reception is free and open to the public.

The seniors whose work will be showcased are Anna Myszka, of Springfield, IL; Ashley Schabacker of Rochelle, IL; and Shelby Woodward, of Keyesport, IL.

In addition, for the opening reception only, eight other MacMurray students will be showing one or more pieces in the show, with 15 works on display. 

After the opening reception, the exhibition is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gallery and concludes on Commencement Day, Saturday, May 3.
