July 3, 2012

Khara Koffel, associate professor of art at MacMurray College, has her work “we all have our something” (pictured) selected for the Ann Metzger Memorial National All Media Exhibition, an annual show sponsored by the St. Louis Artists’ Guild.

Marla Prather, a curator in the Department of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, selected the 90 pieces by 76 artists that comprise this year’s exhibition. A total of 471 pieces of artwork by 171 artists were submitted for consideration.

The show runs through Aug. 11. The gallery is at Two Oak Knoll Park Clayton, MO, 314-727-6266. The hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, except holidays. Admission is free. The St. Louis Artists’ Guild is a regional arts center known for community exhibitions, programs, and educational projects. See for more details.

In recent years, Koffel’s work has been selected for exhibitions throughout the country, including shows in Chicago, St. Louis, Alabama, California and Maryland.
