Chapin native joins MacMurray staff

JACKSONVILLE, IL – Matthew Snodgrass, of Chapin, IL, and a 2006 Triopia High School graduate, has joined the MacMurray Office of Institutional Advancement as the director of major and planned giving.
Snodgrass will be focused on engaging the MacMurray alumni and friends to secure support for the College’s mission.
Snodgrass is active in community organizations, serving as co-chair of the program planning committee of the Jacksonville Young Professionals Network. He is also the youth leader and a Sunday school teacher at Arenzville United Methodist Church. He is the son of Ralph and Alice Snodgrass and the grandson of Dick and Pat Snodgrass, all of Chapin.
Before coming to MacMurray, Snodgrass was a financial representative and intern at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Springfield, IL and while in high school and college, worked as a crew chief at Burrus Seed Farms in Arenzville. He is a 2010 graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in Finance and a minor in economics.
