MacMurray hires new Admissions Specialist

JACKSONVILLE, IL – Whitney Phillips, of Rushville, IL, recently joined the MacMurray staff as an admissions specialist. A 2007 graduate of Rushville-Industry High School, she attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and earned a bachelor’s in Agricultural and Environmental Communications and Education with a concentration in News-Editorial Journalism in August of 2011.
Before attending the University of Illinois, Phillips attended Western Illinois University for a couple of semesters where she worked in the Provost Office as an administrative assistant to the Faculty Contract Specialist. While in Champaign-Urbana, she worked as a student leader for the University of Illinois’ New Student Programs. Prior to being hired at MacMurray, Phillips worked at Cargill Meat Solutions in Beardstown, IL as a Human Resources Associate.
As a MacMurray Admissions Specialist, Phillips will be working closely with counselors and data personnel. “I am very excited to join the MacMurray community, and have found it to be a very welcoming and student-centered campus,” said Phillips. “I look forward to contributing to Mac’s excellent admissions team while growing both personally and professionally through my experiences here.”
