Highlanders to play in Global Football Game

December 5, 2013

Dakota Cane and Dimitrios Dimoulas will travel to Mexico to represent Team Stars and Stripes in the fifth annual Tazón de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars).  The team features NCAA non-scholarship student-athletes. 

Dakota Cane (left) is a defensive lineman from Sparta, Illinois.  He is the son of Erline Cane of Sparta and majoring in Criminal Justice. 

Dimoulas (right) is an offensive lineman from Lombard, Illinois.  He is the son of Maricela Dimoulas of Lombard and majoring in Nursing. 

"We are very proud that Dimitrious and Cody will be representing MacMurray in this great opportunity for them to play one more game. Dimitrious and Cody are good players and even better people. We look forward to watching them play,” said Head Football Coach Chris Douglas. 

The game will be played on the Tec de Monterrey campus on Saturday, December 21, starting at 1:00 pm Central Time.  Anyone interested in watching the game can watch live at
