MacMurray football awards academic achievements

January 28, 2013

The MacMurray College football team recently honored 15 players for maintaining at 3.0 and above GPA during the 2012 football season: 

  • Wesley Chad Allen of Robbins, TN. The sophomore linebacker is a secondary education major.
  • Cody Anderson of Belleville, IL. He is a freshman running back majoring in criminal justice.
  • Cody Buss is a freshman linebacker from Belleville, IL. Buss is majoring in physical education.
  • Dakota Cane of Sparta, IL. The defensive lineman is a junior criminal justice major.
  • Junior offensive lineman Jacob Goodwin, of Fort Worth, TX, is a biology major.
  • Connor Grumich of Florissant, MO. The defensive lineman is an undecided freshman.
  • Taylor Hosta of Lake Geneva, WI. The junior linebacker is a double major in physical education and health.
  • William Kelley is a freshman offensive lineman from Chapin, IL majoring in biology.
  • Joesph Legendre of Fairmont City, IL. The freshman offensive lineman is a physical education major.
  • Charles Miller of Maryville, IL is an undecided freshman running back.
  • Zach Peppers of Seymour, TN, is a junior offensive lineman majoring in sports management.
  • Clifton Peterson is a sophomore linebacker from Miama, FL and a sports management major.
  • Daniel Routh of Edelstein, IL. The senior wide receiver is majoring in biology.
  • James Simelton of Memphis, TN is a junior offensive lineman majoring in criminal justice.
  • Raymond Smith is a junior defensive back from Champaign, IL majoring in English.
