The MacMurray College online program is now focused on degree completion.

“The program is geared toward those who started college but did not finish or those with an associate degree looking to earn a bachelor’s degree,” Dr. Ouida McAfee, director of online programs, said. “It’s perfect for working adults as well as current college students who need an elective course.”

Mac online offers three degree completion programs – business administration, criminal justice and RN to BSN.

“When you sign-up for one of these three programs you will know exactly what classes you need to complete and when you will finish your degree,” McAfee said. “Your schedule can be either full-time or part-time and scheduled in two classes, in eight-week sessions, each semester.”

Enrollment is currently open for the Spring 2020 semester which starts on January 13. Cost per class is $700 and students who live in Illinois, Michigan, Nevada and Ohio can enroll in Mac online classes. Federal financial aid is available and MacMurray is a Yellow Ribbon school which accepts military benefits including veteran’s affairs work study, the GI Bill and tuition assistance.

The online program is designed for students to complete their degree in two years or less. In fact, over the last 8 years, 93% of RN to BSN students have graduated in 10 months.

“Not only will you know when you will graduate but you will also be well prepared for your career,” McAfee said. “In Business Administration, for example, your course work will prepare you for the Microsoft Office Excel Certification.”

Mac online will continue to grow as well. Next fall, students will be able to complete a degree in Emergency Management.

“We are dedicated to providing an avenue in online programs for students to realize their potential,” McAfee said. “It’s affordable. It’s convenient. It’s a perfect time to come join the Mac Fam!”
