“America’s Got Talent” Joseph O’Brien to perform at Mac

MacMurray College welcomes Joseph O’Brien of “America’s Got Talent” to campus on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. in Annie Merner Chapel. 

The event is free and open to the public.

While a contestant on season 13 of “America’s Got Talent,” O’Brien performed covers of the songs “Hello” by Lionel Richie and “Can’t Fight This Feeling” by REO Speedwagon. He also showcased an original piece of his own titled “We Could Build a House,” which he accompanied on the piano.  

Following the performance by O’Brien, there will be a showcase of local performers from Jacksonville High School, MacMurray College, Illinois College and the Jacksonville area.
