HOW IT HAPPENED
Dominican took control of the first game in the second inning as Lucas McKinney started out with a double. Quinlan Milne-Rojek doubled with the bases loaded, bringing in three runners. Collin Janison singled to bring home Milne-Rojek and the Stars led MacMurray 4-0. The Highlanders would answer with one run in the bottom of the second as Chris Williams singled to bring home Drake Hardin. The Stars were strong offensively and pulled ahead scoring another three runs in the fourth. The Highlanders would again bring one run in, but were unable to overcome the deficit, falling 13-6 in the first game.
MacMurray started the second game off strong earning two runs in the first. Dominican answered back in the top of the second and the game was tied 2-2. The Highlanders pulled ahead with a big third inning scoring four. Domincan trailed in the sixth with three runs bringing a close score of 7-5. The Highlanders stayed big at bat and secured the win in the sixth inning scoring four. Dominican was stopped by the Highlander defense for the remainder of the game resulting in an 11-5 win for MacMurray.
FOR THE HIGHLANDERS
Drew Johnson led going 5-for-8 for both games with a total of five RBI's, and four runs. Colin Antoine and Brendan Pesko both went 4-for-7. Antoine with five runs, and Pesko with two runs and an RBI.

Mike Piotrowski led for his team going 5-for-9 with five runs, and four RBI’s.
