HOW IT HAPPENED
The Tigers started off as Rachel Williams went for a layup just seconds into the game. Highlanders quickly answered with a jumper by Liz Kruemmelbein to tie it up. Darby Massner went up for a three pointer, and the Tigers took off on a roll scoring 13 before the Highlanders could get back in the game. At the half, Iowa Wesleyan would lead 40-23. As the second half opened, Iowa Wesleyan took off on a four-point roll. Kayla Horlacher would get the Highlanders back on track with a three-pointer to answer. Horlacher shot 67% at the three point line shooting 6-for-9. Even with her efforts the Highlanders were unable to overcome the deficit and fell 73-49.

Kayla Horlacher led the team with 18 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals.
Melinda Wilson and Ashely Huels both added 6 points for the Highlanders.

Dakota Flesner led with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Rachel Williams followed adding 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Breanna Hall also contributed 12 points for the Tigers.
