MacMurray College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Composition, appointment to start August 2019.  As part of the General Education Program, composition courses are a key component for students to gain writing and speaking skills that integrate critical reading, thinking, writing, and speaking about issues in our culture. Successful candidates should demonstrate a willingness to work effectively with First Year Students.  Candidates with additional background in related fields in the Humanities will be given special consideration.
