Consistent team play and contributions from every man in a Highlander has been the key to the men's basketball seven-game winning streak. That was the recipe for success again on Saturday as every Highlander scored in a 97-67 win over Greenville College at Wall Gymnasium.
Spencer Pratt connected on nine of eleven shots and led all scorers with 23 points in the win. Brady Slagle added thirteen points and a game-high ten rebounds. Colee Busch and Dylan Guthrie also scored in double-figures with twelve and ten points, respectively.
Paul Crowder also provided a spark off the bench with nine points and a game-high six assists; and Clayton Whitlock added nine points and five rebounds.
The visiting Panthers were led by Ron Harris (11 points) and Jake Dewitt (10 points).
Greenville College falls to 11-7 overall and 7-4 in SLIAC play; while the Highlanders improve to 14-4 overall and a conference-leading 10-1 in SLIAC play).
Coach Todd Creal's club travels to Blackburn College on Wednesday night and will be at Webster University next Saturday.
