A strong second half from the Calumet Crimson Wave was too much for the Highlanders to handle. Despite having a 33-29 lead at half time, the Highlanders fell to St. Joseph Calumet with a final score of 59-67.
Senior Brady Slagle came out strong against the Crimson Wave putting up 25 points and had 8 boards on the night. Also putting up double-digits where Dylan Guthrie with 11 points, and Dylan Burton with 10.
The Highlanders defense forced 13 turnovers, and 6 steals on the game.
Highlanders are back in action at home on November 20 at 7:00 pm against Knox College. At this game, representatives of the local chapter of the Marine Corps League will be on hand to collect new, unwrapped toys at the entryway to Bill Wall Gymnasium. Donations will also be accepted during a half-time presentation, when MacMurray College students will be passing collection buckets in the stands.
