Archives and Special Collections
The mission of the Archives is to collect and preserve the primary sources representing the historical memory of MacMurray College and make them available for research.
The Archives holds the records and personal papers of past presidents; minutes of faculty and curriculum committees; minutes of student organizations; a substantial newspaper clipping file; vertical files on administration and faculty; photographs; programs from commencements, concerts, and exhibits; and much more.
Special Collections holds the non-circulating collection of yearbooks, annual catalogs dating back to 1849, monographs written by and about faculty and presidents, as well as college artifacts donated by alums.
The Archives is also home to the records and special collections of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of the United Methodist Church. To view the collections of the IGRC visit http://collections.carli.illinois.edu/cdm/landingpage/collection/mmc_united.
