Family Weekend

We are excited to incorporate Family Weekend into the Homecoming 2017 celebration! Parents, family, and friends of current Highlander students are welcome to join us for activities such as the traditional torch light parade, pep rally, and movie night on the Freesen Field big screen. Make sure to join us for all Homecoming activities mentioned on this site!

Highlander Block Party

Bring the spirit home during a fun block party! Various vendors and food trucks will be on campus. Enjoy the live band while you are there! It is sure to be a great time!

Blackstock Time Capsule Ceremony

Join us for the opening of the Blackstock time capsule created 60 years ago when the new residence hall was dedicated!

Homecoming Parade

The parade route has been altered just a bit this year. The parade will step off on the corner of Clay and State streets as usual. It will progress west down State to the Central Park Plaza where it will take a left around the square this year, the follow Sandy south to College where it will head east back to campus.

Join us as we honor our most generous donors and recognize the accomplishments of your fellow alumni as they receive awards.

Meet the New Director of the Performing Arts, Christine Wallace '92 Smith

Have you heard the great news? Choir and the performing arts are returning to MacMurray this fall! Come meet Christine, sing traditional Mac songs with her, and learn of the great things happening on campus with the arts. At 11:50 a.m., join Christine and lead the crowd in the National Anthem for the women's soccer game.

Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Come celebrate the athletic accomplishments of your fellow Highlander teammates. Afterwards, join us in fellowship while enjoying heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks in the Bennington Lobby of the Putnam/Springer Building.
