Introduction

Hello gumshoes! I've heard you've been reading all about Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up. I need your help straightening out a mystery behind Peter Pan. People have been saying that he was a real person. I need to find out if that's true. Please help! Was Peter Pan a real person? Follow these instructions and find out!



The Task

You will research JM Barrie to find out if Peter Pan was a real person. You need to present a PowerPoint presentation with your discoveries. You need to include a title page, a page about Barrie's life (3 facts on the page), and then 2 pages about the inspiration behind Peter Pan. Finally your last page needs to include your final thoughts. was Peter Pan a real person? Or was a he a work of fiction?



The Process

1)  Students you have just finished reading Peter Pan.

2) Go to only these websites to research JM Barrie's Life and Inspiration behind Peter Pan.

3) After you have finished your research begin on your presentation.

4) Remember to create a title page called "The Mystery of Peter Pan." Your next  page needs to include 3 facts about JM Barrie's life. Then create 2 pages describing your findings. You need to include, colors, fonts, and 2 (or more) pictures of your choosing.

5) For your pictures you may include clip art, however, if you want to put pictures of Peter Pan in your presentation please raise your hand and I will help you find pictures.

6) Your final page needs to include your final thoughts. Was Peter Pan a real person?

7) When you are all done raise your hand and I will help you e-mail your presentation to me so the whole class can see your work.
