Learning Center

Learning at all levels happens in MacMurray's Learning Center. Because of the Education Complex location, the Center is a convenient place for quiet individual or group study between classes.
    
We offer peer tutoring in writing, public speaking and study skills areas. Our subject area tutors add to the help students can receive from their professor or department. (Please see the schedule for times and courses.) We also have a large selection of handouts, brochures, videos and audio tapes on varied topics. Faculty can put videos, audios, or practice tests on reserve here.
    
Students take advantage of 10 computers. We have software to enrich and support many courses. Students also take advantage of our location to check e-mail between classes or print an article from one of the electronic databases to which MacMurray subscribes.
