Computer Facilities

General Information

MacMurray College has many computer labs of varying sizes scattered throughout campus. The main computer lab is located in two adjacent rooms in MacMurray Hall and allows all students a variety of hardware and software options. This lab is well equipped with IBM or IBM-compatible systems with Pentium processors and run Windows 2000 and are part of a Windows 2000 network. Smaller computer labs are available for general student use in Pfeiffer Library, the Learning Center, the art department, the chemistry department, the nursing department, and in every dorm.
    
Microsoft Office Pro, Word Perfect, Lotus 1-2-3, d-Base IV, Turbo Pascal, Turbo C/C++, Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Visio, and MINITAB are available on the IBM systems. Some of the IBM micros support Adobe PageMaker, Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop CorelDraw, and SPSS.
