Choir to perform holiday music

JACKSONVILLE, IL – The MacMurray College annual Lessons & Carols worship service, featuring the MacMurray College Choir, will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Annie Merner Chapel at the corner of College Avenue and Clay Street on the MacMurray campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Joining the choir, led by Director of Music Laurie Lewis, will be College organist Rudolf Zuiderveld, who will also perform the prelude and the postlude. The worship service, led by College Chaplin Amy Kay Pavlovich, will include Scripture readings by students, and the choir will join the congregation in such traditional carols as "Joy to the World," "Away in the Manger," "Silent Night," and "The First Noel."
