Joe Squillace, assistant professor and chair of the division of social and behavioral sciences, has published an article in the Nov. issue of the Journal of Public Health Dentistry.
The article, “Assessing the Community Clinic Replacement Effect on Private Medicaid Practices in Oral Health Care Within Rural Environments,” states that trends within the public health dental care market show that community health clinics are replacing private practice dentists as primary providers of Medicaid/CHIP dental services.
The Journal of Public Health Dentistry, a peer-reviewed publication by Wiley publishers for the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, is devoted to the advancement of public health dentistry.
