MacMurray hires PR staffer

Alyssa Eason joins MacMurray family


MacMurray College welcomed Alyssa Eason to its staff as a public relations associate. The 2011 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville earned her bachelor's in communication and public relations, with a minor in English and writing.

For MacMurray she will have general public relations and press relations duties and will focus on social media marketing for the College. Previously she has been involved with social media management for the Edwardsville YMCA, Think Thank Public Relations and Marketing, the Alzheimer’s Association and the National Children’s Cancer Society.

She is the daughter of Larry and Patrice Eason of Vandalia, IL. Eason takes the place of previous PR associate Susan Bergschneider, who took the position as the public relations and social media coordinator at the recently opened Peoria Riverfront Museum in Peoria, IL.
