Mac professor speaks at state conference
Emily Wright talks in Chicago on teaching strategies for accounting.

JACKSONVILLE, IL – Emily Wright, MacMurray assistant professor of business, gave a presentation earlier this month at an educators’ conference in Chicago.
The presentation, “Active & Collaborative Learning Strategies in Intermediate Financial Accounting,” was given Nov. 5 at the Illinois Accounting Teachers Conference at DePaul University.
Wright, whose specialty is accounting, is also the chair of the Division of Business and Criminal Justice at MacMurray. She is a graduate of Virginia (IL) High School and the daughter of John & Kathe Dahlem of Virginia. Wright lives in Springfield with her husband, Dan, and their three children.
