MacMurray goes to Broadway

Fall choir concert to be held at Annie Merner Chapel.

The MacMurray Choir will be hosting a fall concert in the Annie Merner Chapel on the College campus on Friday Nov. 4, 2011 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Laurie Lewis, MacMurray’s director of music, will be leading the show, “MacMurray Goes to Broadway.” This is Lewis’s first year as director and her first full-length concert with the choir group.

The choir will perform musical selections from the Golden Age of Broadway musicals through today’s hits. Such melodies include “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz, “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from Hairspray, “Seasons of Love” from Rent, and many others.

Admission is free to the public; monetary donations will be accepted to help support the choir.
