JACKSONVILLE, IL – MacMurray College Assistant Professor of Art Khara Koffel has had her works solicited by the Davis Art Gallery at Stephens College gallery in Columbia MO.

Koffel will display several works, including “would’ve, could’ve, should’ve ” (pictured right) in the show titled "Art to the Making," which brings together contemporary work that forces the artist to engage in a lengthy and complex process. There will be four artists involved in the show, which runs Aug. 26 through Oct. 13.

She was invited to participate earlier this summer by Dan Scott, director of the Davis Art Gallery, who had seen her work in a St. Louis show.

In 2000, she received her bachelor's in Studio Arts and Art History from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA, and, in 2003, an MFA in sculpture and photography from the University of Alabama. She resides in Jacksonville with her husband, Marc Benner.
