MacMurray seniors to display artwork
Senior show a culmination of their Fine Arts degrees.

MacMurray College’s 2011 Senior Art Exhibition will open Thursday, April 14 with a reception at 6-7 p.m. at the Applebee Gallery in the Springer/Putnam Center on campus. The event is free and open to the public
The show is the culmination of work for senior art majors Matt Duncan andAndrea White, both of Jacksonville; and Kelsey Smith, of Fillmore, IL. The exhibition will contain the final bodies of work for these three outstanding seniors. The artists will be giving brief discussions of their work as well answering questions from the audience.
The Senior Art Exhibition is the final requirement for graduating with a bachelor’s of Fine Arts at MacMurray College, and each senior has worked for the past year to develop the pieces that will be shown.
The Springer/Putnam Center is at the southeast corner of Main Street and Clay Avenue in Jacksonville. The show will run through May 7, which is Commencement day at MacMurray.
