Football players earn conference honors
Athletes are recognized for academic achievements.
The Upper Midwest Athletics Conference named seven football players to the All-Academic Team. To earn this honor, a student must have a 3.5 grade point average in the same semester as their sport. The following students were named to the All-Academic Team:


Brian Clay, a running back, is a junior majoring in history. He is from Belleville, IL.
Steven Etheridge, an offensive lineman, graduated in December 2010 with a degree in physical education. He is from Sweet Water AL.

Jacob Goodwin a defensive lineman, is a freshman who has not declared a major. He is from Fort Wothy, TX.

Kevin Kelley, a wide receiver, is a freshman majoring in biology. He is from Chapin, IL.

Kelsey Mankins, a linebacker, is a senior majoring in criminal justice. He is from Catheys Valley, CA.

Dan Routh, a wide receiver, is a sophomore majoring in biology. He is from Edelstein, IL.
Kelsey Mankins was also named to the Linebackers All-Conference First Team.
