Art professor to show work in Maryland

Artist Khara Koffel has had four works selected for a show at the Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center in Maryland. For a week in January she was an artist-in-residence at the center. The show in March is a collection of works by the artists who were awarded residencies to the center.

The show will run March 5 to May 1 with the formal opening on March 18. Koffel’s work can be viewed at www.kharakoffel.com. (Note to editors: The titles of Koffel’s works are all lower-case letters.)

The 30-acre Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center in Solomons, MD, seeks to connect people to art and nature. Through the artist-in-residence program and a wide variety of other public events, the center opens up opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and reflection.
