Area student honored for leadership

MacMurray names student leader for January.

Demetrius Suggs

Demetrius Suggs was named student leader of the month for January at MacMurray College. Suggs is a junior majoring in criminal justice. He graduated from Southeast High School in Springfield in 2008. Suggs is an offensive lineman for the Highlander football team and president of the Black Students Union.
