MacMurray to hold federal aid workshop

Free session will help students complete FAFSA.

JACKSONVILLE, IL – MacMurray College will host a workshop entitled “Deciphering the FAFSA” on Saturday Feb. 12 from 1-4 p.m. The workshop will guide students through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Any student seeking federal aid is required to complete this form each year they attend college. A financial aid professional will help students fill out the application and answer questions. Any student wanting to complete the FAFSA while in attendance must bring necessary tax information and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) assigned by the Federal Student Loan Program at www.pin.ed.gov. It takes 3 days to receive a PIN. The workshop will be held on MacMurray’s campus in the Education Complex, room 203. It is free and open to the public.
