Director of Annual Giving hired

Jenni Gee joins MacMurray’s Institutional Advancement Staff.

Jenni Gee of Jacksonville, Ill. begins this month as Director of Annual Giving for MacMurray College. Gee will be responsible for planning, designing and executing annual solicitations and programs to sustain the College’s Annual Fund.

“Jenni comes to MacMurray with a strong skill set and an eagerness to succeed. I am very pleased that she has joined us and confident that she will make an excellent addition to the Institutional Advancement team,” said Bridget Dhom, Executive Director for Institutional Advancement.

Gee comes to MacMurray from Tulsa, Okla., where she assisted with the opening of the SMG/BOK Center-- an event arena for which she was premium services and sales manager. Gee worked with customers, assisted with finances and oversaw service and policy operations.

Before working for the SMG/BOK Center, Gee was the Public Relations Coordinator for the Clovis/ Curry County Chamber of Commerce in Clovis, N.M. She helped organize events, developed websites, coordinated marketing and worked with local media outlets.

Gee also gained communications, event planning and promotions experience as Event Coordinator for Freedom Newspapers of New Mexico and as a Public Relations and Events Coordinator Aide at Eastern New Mexico University.

Gee graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a bachelor’s in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.
