Alumni show to open Oct. 2

The Committee on the MacMurray Art Collection presents a show by two of its alumnae, with an opening reception 5-7 p.m., Saturday Oct. 2, at the Putnam Center for the Arts, located at the corner of East State and Clay streets on the MacMurray College campus.

Works on display will be paintings by graduates Marion “Billie” Nadeau Scott, Class of 1951, and Lillian Gischke Korous, Class of 1960. The show is sponsored by the Committee on the MacMurray Art Collection.

The show will remain in the Putnam Center through Oct. 28, with gallery hours by appointment by calling 479-7025.

The gallery will be displaying the show over Homecoming weekend as well, and will be open Homecoming morning, Saturday, Oct. 23, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon.
