Jacksonville – The Athletic Department of MacMurray College will sponsor a trick-or-treat food drive again this year on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 6 – 7 p.m.

     Athletic teams of 3-4 people will go door to door asking for donations of canned goods for the Jacksonville Area Community Food Center.

     The MacMurray athletes will have a school ID and carry a paper explaining the program. The students are conducting the drive as a community service to help show their support for the local food pantry and urge all residents to contribute when they visit their neighborhood.

     The main areas of focus this year will be South Jacksonville and the northwest section of Jacksonville.

     Located in Jacksonville, Ill., MacMurray College is a private, four-year, liberal arts, coeducational college, founded in 1846, and affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
