MacMurray launching webcasts

Jacksonville – For you fans of MacMurray College sports, you’ll now be just one click away from listening to some of your favorite games! Beginning on September 7, MacMurray began initial testing of our new sports webcasts with the women’s volleyball game against Principia College.

The webcasts will only feature home games with the next scheduled on September 24th with the football game against Concordia College at 1 p.m.

This new feature has NOT yet been officially announced. However, if you would like to get a peek at what it offers, you may access the webcasts by going to the MacMurray athletic page and then clicking on the “LISTEN LIVE” link. Your input is appreciated! We are still in the testing stage and ensuring that everything works perfectly before we officially launch this new service.

MacMurray is using the services of Stretch Internet, an internet audio streaming company which also allows for games to be archived and listened to after the webcast. The internet company uses the QuickTime multimedia platform and you will be able to download the player for free.

We plan to also feature men’s and women’s soccer and basketball, football, baseball and softball games.
