MacMurray College appoints Director of Annual Giving

Jacksonville – MacMurray College announced recently the appointment of Ms. Kim Jennings as the Director of Annual Giving in the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Ms. Jennings was most recently the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and has a master’s degree in public relations from Boston University.

An alumna of a small liberal arts institution in South Carolina, she says she believes strongly in liberal arts education and what it can do for young people. Ms. Jennings said, “I’m excited to be at Mac right now at this time in its history, to be a factor in the important work that’s positively impacting students at this critical time in their lives. To me, this is an incredible opportunity to contribute to MacMurray’s bright future!”

As part of the Office of Development, her duties will include designing and overseeing direct mail initiatives, organizing and executing phoneathons and assisting in the production of campus events.

Mrs. Jennings replaces Mrs. Diane Seufert who in June was appointed to the newly created position of Director of Prospect Research in the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Originally from the Fort Lauderdale area, she now resides in Jacksonville with husband, Mark, and their two children…Avery (2½) and Josiah (1).

Located in Jacksonville, Ill., MacMurray College is a private, four-year, liberal arts, coeducational college, founded in 1846, and affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
