MacMurray goes to the State Fair

Jacksonville – One of the newest changes to this year’s Illinois State Fair is the addition of “Campus Town” and MacMurray College will be one of its newest exhibitors.

Located indoors just off Main Street across from the Food-A-Rama Building, “Campus Town” will feature various area colleges and universities from around Illinois. MacMurray will take center stage on Saturday, Aug. 20th, the next to last day of the fair.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., fairgoers are invited to stop in, cool off and visit with MacMurray representatives from the Admissions and Alumni offices. The College’s nursing department will be doing FREE blood pressure checks; there will be activities for children and free refreshments. Visitors to Campus Town can also register to win MacMurray merchandise.
