All-Conference athletes announced

     Jacksonville – Fifteen students from MacMurray College were honored as Academic All-Conference athletes according to Darrin DeNeve, acting Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

     The athletes represent various sports and included the following recent graduates: Matthew D. Baier of Montgomery (soccer) and Rachel M. Frasch of Hoffman Estates (softball).

     The other students included: Brian Baier of Montgomery (soccer), Brett Carroll of Roscoe (basketball), Brad Cunningham of Danville (basketball), Erica Ernst of Geneseo (basketball), Denise Hamby of Murrayville (tennis), Megan Hembrough of Jacksonville (volleyball), Lindsay Molnar of Divernon (softball), Brandon Priesman of Biggsville (golf), Leah Raabe of Franklin (softball), Rachel Rogers of Altona (basketball), Kimberly Ryan of Waverly (volleyball), Robyn Schroeder of Algonquin (soccer) and Teresa Venton of Middleville, MI (tennis).

     To achieve standing as Academic All-Conference, the athletes must have a cumulative 3.5 grade point average and been active in a sport which participates in a conference championship.


     Located in Jacksonville, Ill., MacMurray College is a private, four-year, liberal arts, coeducational college, founded in 1846, and affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Its friendly, informal environment stresses academic excellence, personal attention, career experience, and well-rounded development of each individual.
