9/11 Remembrance to be held at MacMurray College


    Jacksonville – The public is invited to attend “A Day in Remembrance of 9/11” to be held at MacMurray College on the 5th anniversary of the tragic events of that day in 2001.

     The memorial ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. in Annie Merner Chapel on the College campus with College Chaplain Rev. Randel Myers giving the address. The ceremony will honor the heroes of 9/11 and mourn the loss of so many fellow citizens.

      Various MacMurray faculty, staff and students will also come forward and share scripture readings during the program.

      Music will be provided by the MacMurray Choir under the direction of Terri Benz with accompaniment by Dr. Jay Peterson.
