New business professor at Mac
Jacksonville – Dr. David Fitz, MacMurray College Vice President of Academic Affairs, announced the appointment of Alan D. Hansen as assistant professor of business administration at the college. He will begin his new duties with the 2006 fall semester. He earned his B.A. degree in Japanese and Far East Asian Studies and an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from Brigham Young University. Dr. Hansen was featured in Who’s Who Among American Teachers in 2002 and 2004. He has held positions with companies like Systemax Corporation, Circle K Corporation, and one year as a Japanese linguist and economic analyst for the National Security Agency. Located in Jacksonville, Ill., MacMurray College is a private, four-year, liberal arts, coeducational college, founded in 1846, and affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
