MacMurray College at State Fair
Jacksonville will be featured on Wednesday, Aug. 16th. Also known as “Governor’s Day” at the fair, the day has been proclaimed as “Jacksonville Day” and will spotlight the best that the city has to offer...including education. MacMurray will take part with other select businesses to showcase themselves from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in a large tent with an adjoining stage for entertainment through the day. College representatives will be on hand to welcome guests in the Heartland area of the fairgrounds (located near Gate 2). Visitors will be able to chat with the various vendors as well as register to win special prizes. Thursday, Aug. 17: For the second year in a row, MacMurray College will again be one of the select colleges represented in Campus Town. Celebrating the importance of higher education, the venue will showcase a different school each day of the fair.
