MacMurray appoints new Recorder

    Jacksonville – Malea Harney has been named the new College Recorder at MacMurray College effective June 1.

     For the past eight years Ms. Harney has been employed at MacMurray as the Administrative Assistant in the office of the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. Prior to that she was the office manager at Brown Podiatric Medical Centre, served as a secretary in the advertising department at the Jacksonville Journal Courier, and was a Residential/Business Representative at General Telephone Company.

      Ms. Harney is in the process of obtaining her Business Administration degree at MacMurray. In her new position, Ms. Harney will oversee all college academic records and be responsible for student registration and course scheduling.

     She is married to Jack Harney and they reside in South Jacksonville. She has four children, Makenzi, Afton, Payton and Tanner Gillis.
