Jacksonville – Dr. Jay Peterson, chair of the Department of Music at MacMurray College, will present an organ recital preview on Wednesday, February 15th, at 7:00 p.m. in Annie Merner Chapel.

     The preview is free and open to the public with refreshments to be served and also kicks off a series of presentations by MacMurray faculty for the spring semester.

     Dr. Peterson will present a program of music ranging from 17th century to modern times. From Dietrich Buxtehude to Mozart, Bach and Paul Hindemith, the performance will give a taste of various music genres.

     This recital is a preview of his faculty organ recital on Sunday, February 19th, at 2:00 p.m. in Annie Merner Chapel.
