New VP/CFO Appointment at MacMurray

     Jacksonville – MacMurray College President Lawrence D. Bryan announced today the appointment of Ms. Wendy Little as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective Monday, July 10.

     Ms. Little has extensive experience in management and organizational leadership within the largest health insurance company in Illinois, including creating and analyzing complex financial reporting systems, budgeting for some 80 office operations throughout the State, and over 20 years experience managing the full spectrum of human resource functions from benefits administration to the creation and implementation of performance assessment systems.

     She began her professional career as Executive Vice President of the Illinois Beef Council before joining the Health Care Service Corporation in 1985 where she spent 20 years advancing from department Supervisor to Director of Sales Administration. Her responsibilities included financial planning, budgeting, human resource administration, and the supervision of contract management and privacy/regulatory functions. Most recently, she has been in charge of financial operations, business development and human resources for Cineco Video, Film and HDTV Productions in Springfield.

     Ms. Little earned her BS and MS degrees from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and completed some doctoral coursework in agribusiness economics at Oklahoma State University. She lives in the rural Farmingdale area with her husband and two daughters, and she has been actively involved as a volunteer with the Pleasant Plains Schools, the United Methodist Church, the Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society. .
