Wireless Network Access

Wireless hotspots are located across campus and are mostly centered around the dorms, academic buildings, campus center, and the dining hall.

In an effort to expand wireless connectivity, the IT Department is working to install more access points across campus. The majority of buildings on campus have wireless coverage throughout; however, connectivity is not guaranteed everywhere in every building. For example, certain rooms a certain distance from access points may have limited or no connectivity compared to other spots in the building. This is especially true in the dorms.

To connect your computer or other device wirelessly, find the MACNET or MACWIFI SSIDs in the list of available networks. The password for both wireless networks is HighlandersAre#1!

Remember: if you are having trouble connecting wirelessly, try using a wired connection if possible since it is more reliable.
