Initiatives
As MacMurray College raises its visibility as a premier Liberal Arts institution, we must make every effort to broaden the investment in both the Institution and its students. Investing in one of MacMurray’s initiatives allows you as a donor to broaden the educational opportunities available for our students, to provide critical support for our faculty, or to enhance Mac’s Historic Campus.
Livewire
Livewire is the annual phonathon that serves not only to increase the well-being of the donor through outreach, but also to increase the well-being of the student through a healthy Annual Fund. Only 68% of MacMurray's operating costs are covered in tuition dollars, which is why the support of alumni, parents and friends is so vital to the success of the College. Your support secures the future of MacMurray. Your gift to Livewire ensures that MacMurray will continue to flourish and be to future students all that it was to you--the experience of a lifetime, an experience that transformed you.

Happy Holidays from the MacMurray Campus
Marc Randall ’11 was chosen to be the highlighted student for the 2010 winter incentive Letter. Marc is an excellent student both on and off the field and was chosen in thanks to his charismatic and kind personality as well as his overall love for MacMurray. Marc came to MacMurray through the advice of his good friend, and according to him, “Coming to Mac was the best decision I have ever made.” Congrats Marc for being a great example of what Mac Highlander truly is.

Flood Update
It has been nine weeks since the cleanup and restoration process at MacMurray College began, due to devastating flooding on the south end of campus. As reported earlier, all the south dormitories, the newly renovated Gordon facilities operations offices, College vehicles and athletic fields were flooded, with the Jenkins Education Complex suffering the most devastating damage.

Class of ’86 Henry Pfieffer Library Book Project Fund
Class of '86, honor your reunion year by giving to the Class of 1986 Henry Pfeiffer Library Book Project Fund. Since its erection in 1941, the Library has served as a haven for Mac students, with many memories being stored within its sturdy walls. In more ways than one, you have probably benefited from the Library. Remember late nights cramming for Bio quizzes and those Mickey Mouse ears that mysteriously appeared one year? Now is your opportunity to give back to the Library that assisted in your MacMurray education.
In honor of your 25th reunion, the Class of '86 Henry Pfeiffer Library Book Project Fund was established in order to help stock the stacks and show your support to Mac! We ask as a member of the Class of '86, that you contribute to the purchase of new books for the Library.
