All contributions should be made payable to MacMurray College. Restrictions can be indicated on the memo line of the check and/or with an accompanying note. Gifts to MacMurray are eligible for tax deductions under current IRS guidelines. Credit Card Gift
MacMurray College accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Discover cards. Your gift will be credited the day we receive your credit card number, PIN number, and expiration date, along with name of person as printed on card. You may make your gift online or by calling 217-479-7024. You may also print and send in the donation form. To make a donation using American Express, card members may use the American Express Donation Site, http://www.americanexpress.com/give.
Gift of Stock

Planned Giving
Planned gifts are deferred gifts. More and more people are finding that planned giving is a desirable way to effectively maximize support of their major charitable interests.
- They allow the donor to make a sizeable gift to the College as part of his or her estate planning. Quite often, but not always, they are part of a bequest.
- Many planned gifts can provide the donor with income during their lifetime, then benefit the College at their death.
- Planned gifts usually provide tax advantages to the donor.

IRS regulations stipulate that charitable contributions toward student organizations, where moneys are not regulated by the College, are no longer tax deductible. On behalf of MacMurray College students, your support over the years has been very much appreciated. MacMurray College welcomes your continued support of the General Organizations Fund as the College must continue to offset the funds needed to operate student organizations.
