COURSE OBJECTIVES:

To improve basic writing skills, introduce concepts unique to writing in criminal justice, develop the ability to conform one's writing style to specific criteria and produce error free reports.


GRADING POLICY:

spelling tests: 15%
daily assignments: 40%
midterm: 15%
final: 30%
Spelling tests will be given each Tuesday. No make-up spelling tests will be given. You may drop your lowest score.
These are the highest cut-off points that I will use in assigning letter grades:
A 90-100%
B 80-89%
C 70-79%
D 60-69%
F 0-59%
